Failed to access IIS metabase

This error has a fairly simple fix.

From time to time I run into this error, trying to start up the local IIS on XP:

This is often the case after a reinstallation or working on site for a customer.

This often caused by installing IIS after you've installed the .NET framework. All you need to do to get it to work is:

aspnet_regiis -i
