IPhone plugin for Umbraco

Maybe you know that IPhone geotags your photos, but what can the location coordinates be used for?

The location coordinates are nothing more than 2 values, a longitude and latitude, specifying where on the surface of the earth the photo was taken. This is called geotagging, and the tag can be used by any application capable of reading the tag. Most information embedded in photos these days are socalled EXIF data, everything from the cameras shutter speed to the location are recorded in the photo.

Now you can use Google Maps to display the location embedded in the photos taken on your IPhone in Umbraco. The code for the Umbraco plugin will be available on this site shortly. Stay tuned :)
